A social media-famous cat from Istanbul’s Ziverbey area has recently passed away after a long struggle with an illness.
The big fuzzy cat, whose name was Tombili, became popular after her photos, showing her sitting like a boss on a side walk.
Her photos can be seen in countless memes on countless cat page and also at cheezburger.com!
Tombili had fallen ill just about a month ago and passed away last week.
The name ‘Tombili’ is frequently used for chubby pets in Turkish.
Residents who live in Ziverbey’s Güleç Çıkmazı street announced her passing away by hanging posters, saying “You will live in our hearts”, all along the tree Tombili would lay beside.
