This delicate rescue mission shows the moment a young kitten is helped off an iron spike which she was impaled on after falling from a balcony.
The seven-month-old cat called Mitifuf’s worried owner witnessed the accident at immediately called the emergency services desperate for their help.
The rescue team arrived as is featured in the footage delicately getting the young animal off the metal bar that shot through her stomach.
The images show a total of three people working together during the rescue of the cat.
One man wearing a hard hat uses a tool to cut the pole as two others hold on the injured animal.
Eventually, the cat is finally cut away from the rest of pole but she is still clearly in pain as they try to bandage her injured abdomen.
Mitifufa starts to hiss and scratch at her rescuers’ hands but they eventually hold her paws in place so that a bandage can be wrapped around her stomach.
She was then reportedly rushed over to a veterinary clinic for emergency surgery, remarkably the metal rod missed all her vital organs.
Thankfully, the surgery was successful and the cat is now reportedly recovering at home in the city of Monterrey, Mexico.
