Airport Security Officials Find a Leopard Cub Inside a Passenger’s Luggage

Last week, something pretty interesting happened at an Indian airport. Airport security stopped a passenger who arrived from Thailand after the scan revealed a baby leopard cub in his luggage! The officials heard noises coming from the bag and decided to detain the passenger. When they checked his bag, they were shocked to find a leopard cub inside.

The 45-year old passenger is probably a part of an international animal smuggling network. There’s nothing confirmed yet, but authorities are looking into the matter.

The poor animal was shocked and pretty weak – his heart was running like it was going to jump out of his chest! The officials bottle-fed it milk and the cub was later taken to the Arignar Anna Zoo Park in Chennai, where it recovers.
