Terrified Six-week-old Kittens with Flu Dumped in a Cardboard Box and Abandoned!

UNITED KINGDOM – A total of three terrified kittens were found dumped in a box and abandoned in Walton.

A member of the public found the cardboard box on a rural track just off the High Street.

Inside they found three kittens who were all just six weeks old and very ill, suffering from cat flu and severe diarrhea.

They were reported immediately to the RSPCA and some agents came out to rescue the kittens.

The frightened animals were then taken to a vet for urgent care and are still undergoing treatment – but are now on the mend.

RSPCA inspector Adam Jones has now launched an investigation into the incident.

He has appealed for any information on the former owner who dumped the kittens.

Mr, Jones stated: “We really want to stress that this situation could have been avoided if the owner of the cat who gave birth to these kittens had had their pet neutered.

“There are plenty of organisations, such as the RSPCA and Cats Protection, as well as local vets who offer assistance with the costs of neutering.

“We are completely overrun with cats and kittens in our local centres at the moment and more are coming in every day.”

The RSPCA has warned that the cat population has officially hit crisis point and urged owners to get their pets neutered.
