Young Woman Desperately Searching for Pet Cat After it Ran Onto Tracks at Busy London Underground Station!

LONDON, ENGLAND – A young woman is now desperately searching for her pet cat after it escaped from its carrier and ran onto the tracks at a busy London Underground station.

Lucy Duff, who is 27, was returning home to Clapham on Sunday when her ‘beloved’ rescue cat , Lucky, then suddenly just leaped onto the platform at Green Park Tube station.

Terrified by all the noise and crowds, the brown-and-white feline immediately jumped down onto the tracks before running into the tunnel towards Oxford Circus.

Three days later, Lucky remains missing, and her distraught owner has offered a $1,400 reward for anyone who finds the green-eyed cat alive.

In a Gumtree post concerning her missing pet, Lucy writes: “I remain hopeful but I’m desperately upset. She is a white and brown short-haired female cat with green eyes.

“She is also microchipped. She could be anywhere if she made her way up to the platform and out onto the street.”

Lucy said that her cat then jumped onto the tracks and ran deep into the tunnel in an apparent bid to hide, before a train screeched into the station.

“I kept my eyes fixated on the spot where I’d seen her go to hide but after the train pulled away again, she didn’t reappear,” she stated.

The devastated owner has returned to the Tube station each and every day since Lucky’s disappearance in the hope of finding her adored pet.
