Cat’s Human Sends Hilarious Apology Note To Neighbors After Cat Steals Their Underwear

A shamed cat owner recently sent letters of apology to her neighbors – because her cat keeps stealing their undies.

The pesky kitty whose name is Pumpkin has been on a knicker nicking spree by bringing home a fresh set of lingerie every day.

And the three-year-old cat is now officially in the doghouse for her daylight robbery of her neighbors’ underwear.

Owner Zoe Davies, who is 44, stated: “This week alone I’ve had ten pairs of knickers (all the same size and make), two bras and two pairs of tights.

“My children and friends think that the whole thing is hilarious.

“But I really don’t know what to do, I thought about putting an honesty box outside – but I can’t put underwear outside my house.”

The family always discovers the clothes in a morning – and are alerted by Pumpkin crying after she’s brought something new home.

Zoe, who is from Fairwater, Cardiff, stated: “I’ve had T-shirts, socks, gardening gloves, tea towels, leggings, men’s pants.

“One week she brought home a pair of knickers, then a few days later brought me the matching bra, I thought that was quite impressive”.

Zoe posted letters through six of her neighbors’ doors explaining what’s going on – and asking if they want to be reunited with their undies.

She believes the naughty haul could actually be coming from the same house – as they are all the same size and make.

However, no-one has laid claim to the array of underwear and other clothes.

None of the items that Pumpkin returns ever have laundry pegs on – so Zoe thinks it’s unlikely that she’s taking them from clotheslines.

She believes that she’s getting into houses either through cat-flaps or windows that have been left open due to the hot weather.

Zoe concluded: “I don’t people to worry there is a cat burglar out there – it is just Pumpkin on the prowl.”
