ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA – A Facebook post shared on Friday asks people for some help identifying the woman seen in a video taking a Brother Wolf rescue kitten.
No Kill Asheville and Brother Wolf shared a post about a woman wearing white shorts and a white shirt with a logo that reads “Bahamas,” who can be seen on the video snatching a kitten from a cage, putting it into her purse, and leaving. The post also states that some said the woman was acting quite strangely.
The video has been viewed more than 40,000 times.
A reward is now being offered for the kitten’s safe return.

“Hey friends, we’re in need of your help!” writes No Kill Asheville on their Facebook page. “This afternoon a woman came into the Brother Wolf Adoption Center and after a few minutes, left with a kitten smuggled in her purse. Folks who spoke with her were said she seemed ‘off’, and the kitten she took was unfortunately the smallest of the litter and not spayed yet. We are very worried for this little one!”
Contact denise@bwar.org if you happen know the woman in white. Again, her shirt said “Bahamas” on it.
