3-Week-Old White Kitten Thrown from Car Window, Begins a Long Road to Recovery

TAMPA, FLORIDA. – A tiny, white kitten who is just three-week-old is responding well to her antibiotics, the SPCA Suncoast says.

The kitten, who’s been named “April,” was rescued by a Good Samaritan who saw her being tossed from a car.

“Our Little April is responding well to antibiotics and although we are force feeding her, she isn’t rejecting or vomiting after she eats, all of which are a good sign,” the SPCA posted on its Facebook page.

“Our little fighter is receiving her breathing treatment. April is stable and her appetite is improving …. she is still only 9 oz.”

Staff-members named her April because the entire month of April is “Prevention of Cruelty to Animals” month and it was fitting.
