CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — a total of four people, including two firefighters, were injured today in a fire in the Albany Park neighborhood.
One resident of this apartment building located at 3300 block of West Berteau Avenue was taken to a hospital an was said to be in fair to serious condition. Another resident was transported in good to fair condition.
Both firefighters were also taken to local hospitals. One fell from a first floor window, the other with minor burns.
Several dogs and cats were rescued as was a bed-ridden woman.
The Chicago Red Cross is helping displaced residents.
